Pez candies used to sold in tins before the Pez dispenser was invented). Doss, 50, owns every single Pez dispenser ever produced by the Austrian-based company, Pez Candy Inc. Ten years ago, Doss and his wife, Nancy, turned their collection of over 500 pieces into a museum open to the public. He also buys sells and trades Pez dispensers through his store inside the museum and the Internet. More than 10,000 visitors from around the world come to the Pez Museum every year. The first Pez dispensers were introduced in 1948 but had the trademark heads four years later only. Pez dispensers are collected worldwide and seven Pez international conventions are held every year.
